Guest of PuliticaMente on RCFM, the LR deputy for Haute-Corse says he is ready for the 2028 territorial elections. He defends a Ceccoli-Marcangeli axis, but also Angelini, to beat Gilles Simeoni. “We ultimately need a platform to enable a feasible alternative,” believes François-Xavier Ceccoli.

A few days before the announcement of the composition of the Barnier government, on RCFM, François-Xavier Ceccoli, recognizes that the Savoyard is by force of circumstances the default choice. He says he is aware of the difficulty of his task with a National Assembly without an absolute majority.

“30% INVESTMENT, 70% OPERATION, WE ARE FAR FROM THE STANDARDS OF GOOD MANAGEMENT”

But it is on the local level that the LR deputy of the second constituency of Haute-Corse, torn from the nationalist Jean-Félix Acquaviva, fires his sharpest arrows. He unsurprisingly fires broadsides at the management of Gilles Simeoni, at the head of the Collectivité de Corse. “We don’t realize it,” insists the new strongman of the island’s right, “but Corsica is today in a catastrophic situation. “30% investment, 70% operation, we are far from the standards of good management. Public orders are at a very low level, never seen before.”

“JEAN CHRISTOPHE ANGELINI IS AN OPEN-MINDED MAN. BEING ABLE TO WORK ON THE FUTURE WITH ACCUNSENTU IS SOMETHING THAT SEEMS POSSIBLE TO ME”

François-Xavier Ceccoli therefore defends the need for an alternative at the head of the CdC. And very clearly advocates a Ceccoli-Marcangeli axis, but also Angelini, in the 2028 territorial elections: “Marcangeli-Ceccoli or Ceccoli-Marcangeli, that’s obvious because we are very close politically, we share the same way of seeing things (…) And so it’s not up for debate. Concerning Mr. Angelini, I think there is no problem either. Today, Mr. Angelini is against violence, he talks about the economy, and he is also someone who is very critical of the Community’s record.”.
François-Xavier Ceccoli does not hide his ambitions: “I am ready. We will probably have to create a platform in the long term to propose a feasible alternative, which involves an opening, and Jean Christophe Angelini is an open man. To be able to work fromaccused on the future, it is something that seems conceivable to me. I think that today it is the duty of all of us to change the deadly trajectory that the Corsican boat is experiencing”. The battle of 2028 has already begun.
