The Jacques-Monod hospital in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) was briefly closed and confined in the afternoon of Thursday, April 18, the establishment indicated on Facebook. The agents and users present within the hospital center were confined within the units.

“We are not able to welcome users,” the hospital said on its social networks.

Shortly after 4 p.m., the alert was lifted.

The situation under control

The hospital told BFMTV that no one was injured. The situation is under control. The police went to the scene.

“This measure followed the report of potentially armed individuals on the Jacques Monod site. The intervention of the police made it possible to confirm that the individuals had indeed left the establishment,” specifies the hospital on Facebook.

The establishment invites patients who were unable to attend their consultations or examinations to call back starting this Friday, April 19.
