LThe meeting is held in the office of Raphaël Barazza, the lawyer for the Chinese company EasySent, in the VIIIe district of Paris. Yan Songqing, the boss of the Chinese logistics holding company, is flanked by his advisors. The situation is unusual since Mr. Yan has been subject to a European arrest warrant issued by a Belgian investigating judge since last June. Residing 50% in China and 50% in France, Yan Songqing opposes his extradition before the competent French authorities. The procedure is pending.
