A posh hideaway, Pacific Palisades is known for its multi-million dollar luxurious residences which were completely ravaged by fires around Los Angeles from January 7, 2025. Laeticia Hallyday is one of the victims of this spectacular disaster which made big news titles at the start of the year. Jade and Joy's mother then canceled a planned trip to London to join her daughters, Joy – who was there during the tragedy – and Jade, who left Paris in a hurry to also return, has just reacted on Instagram with news more serene, saying she was grateful to be getting better, in the face of the misfortune that had befallen her home. She has lost everything materially but what matters to her, her family and friends, are there.
In the story, Laeticia Hallyday revealed a tender photo of the family pet, Cheyennewho is resting not far from his friend Bono, dog of the house which welcomes them, that of Christina Apostolidou and her husband Simon Paul Cohen. These are close friends of Johnny Hallyday's great love. The image of the Hallydays' beloved dog is all the stronger as it was saved from the flames by Joy. According to the magazine Galathe 16-year-old teenager, a student at the French high school in Los Angeles, left classes early to rescue her dog adopted in 2016.

“We lost everything… There's nothing left. I saw our house go to ashes, powerless against the flames which took everything away“, wrote Laeticia Hallyday on the social network Instagram, in a publication showing the flames devouring the residential district of Pacific Palisades. “It wasn't just a house… It was our refuge, our rebirth after the chaos of grief. (…) But above all, she helped us to get back on our feet, to rebuild ourselves after the unimaginable absence of my husband”then confided the widow of the rockstar who died in December 2017.
Coming back to live in France is an idea that arose in the minds of those close to Laeticia Hallyday, she who still owns Marnes-la-Coquette, the last home of Johnny Hallyday, named La Savannah, and still on sale. An option which is however complicated for Jade and Joy who do not want to leave Los Angeles where they have their friends and especially where they study.
