The Mondial de la praline, for its third edition this year in Lyon, is opening its competition to amateurs. Applications will be made from March 2025.
After the first two editions, the Mondial de la praline will return in 2025! The meeting takes place at the Château du Parc de Lacroix-Laval in Marcy l’Etoile, near Lyon, in March and September 2025. The competition, in the categories “Praline Brioche” and “Praline Tart”, is open to professionals and apprentice pastry chefs, bakers, chocolatiers, confectioners, caterers, etc.
The “Original creation around praline” category is exclusively reserved for professionals. This year, the organizers also opened a category for amateurs, around the praline snack. A mixology competition based on pralines, always, is also added to the competition.
-This praline world will begin on March 20 with the opening of applications during a launch evening at the Vatel Academy campus. The full program will then be revealed. After the selection of finalists in July, the finals of the different categories will take place on September 28 and 29, 2025.
