A little festive air reigned recently at the Alban rescue center where a medal ceremony was held, in the presence of Lieutenant-Colonel Eslan and Commander Massol.
A ceremony which is usually held a little earlier around Saint Barbara, the patron saint of firefighters, which a painful event had prevented last year. The awards ceremony was organized as a private committee.
Thus were medaled and promoted : Captain Christophe Astouls: medal for 30 years of service. Chief Sergeant Julien Fraysse: medal for 20 years of service. Master Corporal Emmanuel Fages: medal for 10 years of service. Sergeant Théo Souyris: medal for 10 years of service. The promoted. Clément Rabaud: promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Johanna Puech and Tanveer Abdulrohomun decorated with the fourragère marking the end of their initial training. And like any warm meeting, and let’s admit it was smiling, the ceremony concluded with a friendly buffet bringing together the participants, always available to come to the aid of their fellows.
