Shantel VanSanten joined the cast of the series in 2009, during season 7, and has excellent memories of the moments spent on the set, notably with Robert Buckley who played her boyfriend, Clay. “I have so many memories, there were a lot of scenes where Robert Buckley and I were having a blast! You know, even though there were a lot of tears on screen, we had a great time going to comic book stores, eating cake. And that was added to the series. Being friends with someone you shoot with every day is a memorable experience.” explained the actress seen since in The Boys.

Shantel VanSanten is not only close to Robert Buckley, she also shares a special bond with Bethany Joy Lenz, his fictional sister. “I helped deliver Bethany Joy's baby!
