Mariah Carey was spotted holding hands with Anderson .Paak during a meal in Aspen, Colorado this past weekend.
The five-octave singer, 55, and the rapper, producer and member of the duo Silk Sonic (which he forms with Bruno Mars), 38, were photographed entering the Catch Steak restaurant together on Sunday evening. All smiles, Mariah Carey turned around to grab the hand of the man who seems to be her new companion. According to some sources, the duo is working on new musical projects in the singer's studio, located in this famous ski resort.
The next day, the “All I Want for Christmas is You” singer was spotted shopping at the luxury resort.
This isn't the first time the two artists have sparked speculation. Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak, whose real name is Brandon Paak Anderson, have been spotted together several times in recent months. The rapper recently attended one of the singer's Christmas shows and shared photos with her, as well as her twins Monroe and Moroccan, on Halloween.
Before appearing with Anderson .Paak, Mariah Carey separated from her longtime companion, Bryan Tanaka, in December 2023. Their relationship, punctuated by ups and downs, lasted almost ten years before ending.
For his part, Anderson .Paak was married to musician Jaylyn Chang for 13 years before filing for divorce in January 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Shortly after, he was photographed holding hands with Dutch singer Sterre Marith Tapilatu on a beach in Mexico. Anderson .Paak and Jaylyn Chang have two sons, Soul Rasheed and Shine Tariq.
