Linkin Park will stop in Montreal next summer as part of its new world tour From Zero.
The group is adding more than 50 dates to its show series designed for stadiums and arenas, the next stage of which will begin in January.
The Californian team will finally return to the Bell Center, after more than 10 years of absence, on August 6.
General on-sale for North America will be Thursday, November 21, at around noon.
Remember that singer Emily Armstrong took over from the late singer and leader of the band, Chester Bennington, last September. Founding members Mike Shinoda (vocals and guitar), Brad Delson (guitar), Dave Farrell (bass guitar) and Joe Hahn (keyboard) made the announcement on their social networks.
They also announced that in addition to having reformed the group with Dead singer Sara, they would add drummer Colin Brittain to the team, replacing Rob Bourdon.
“The support from the fans has been overwhelming. From Zero is a new chapter for us, and we are excited to share it with everyone on a larger scale,” said Mike Shinoda.
A new album titled From Zero will appear this Friday and will contain the three singles The Emptiness Machine, Heavy Is the Crown et Over Each Other.
Linkin Park’s last visit to Montreal dates back to the summer of 2014. The group then performed at Parc Jean-Drapeau with 30 Seconds To Mars.
