In 2011, Karin Viard spoke of her daughters Marguerite and Simone (aged 13 and 11 at the time) in the pages of TV Star. “They are ashamed that I earn so much money“, then revealed the one who has been nominated thirteen times for the César and who has won three of them. “Because in their school (they attended a local school where all backgrounds are mixed, according to the actress in Madame Figaroeditor’s note), there are children who don’t have a chance.”
Rare confidences from the actress, about her daughters. This weekend, she celebrated the 25th birthday of one of them, namely Simone. She seems to have had a very good evening, although at one point she found herself all alone on the dance floor, in a sublime black dress by Courrèges. “When you celebrate your daughter’s 25th birthday and you are the only one dancing“, commented the actress with humor, before complimenting her princess: “You are wonderful darling.”
A post which obviously amused Alex Lutz a lot, who added an emoji of a laughing man in the space dedicated to comments. “You are the one who is right! Happy birthday Simone“, for her part reacted Andréa Bescond.
Karin Viard, what kind of mother is she to Marguerite and Simone?
Just like Marguerite, Simone was born from the marriage between her mother and Laurent Machuel, director of photography, camera operator and sound engineer. Today, Karin Viard is in perfect love with Manuel Herrero, her companion for more than five years, to whom she said “yes” in 2022.
Note that we don’t know much about Simone, except that she studied at the Reims School of Art and Design, and that she made appearances in the cinema: In The actresses balls and in Policies. During an interview given to Gala in November 2018, Karin Viard indulged in some revelations about her role as a mother: “I grew up alone, my mother left my sister and me with our grandparents when she separated from my father. When my daughters were born, it was like arriving in a covered field of snow and make the first tracks (…). I tried through my daughters to repair my childhood.”
“With my daughters, there is no taboo. I have no problem talking about sex with them for example, although it will seem completely incongruous to some. Afterwards, everyone obviously has to stay in their place “, she added, before talking about their departure from the family home: “Oh, that doesn’t make me happy! At the same time, if the children want to leave, it’s because we’ve done our job well. So it’s a healthy situation. But for all that, it’s not not that’s why we swallow the pill well…”
