The program for the 2024 edition of the accordion and song festival was once again packed at the municipal theater ofAbbeville on Sunday October 27. A lovely afternoon under the sign of the musette concocted by the emblematic Michel Pruvot.

A rich and varied program

Hours of concert with a special work specially written by a professor from the Krakow Conservatory, the participation of the Albert Laurent Choir offering works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Penderecki.

A very rich and varied program to the sound of the accordion and distinguished guests like Cédric Dépret, Quentin Laroche, James Lesueur, Lili White, Jean-François and the piano virtuoso Michel Pruvot.

Lily White, ambassador of the 60s to 80s and in particular disco, a multifaceted artist with perfect mastery on stage, delighted the audience. Jean-François Valence, his artistic evolution led him to a series of concerts in Europe. James Sweat of the Academy is a distinguished composer with works that contribute to school programs and accordion competitions. Quentin Laroche, who started playing the accordion at the age of 8, played with the older ones, for musette and variety.

Michel Pruvot, 55 years of career

Cédric Dépret, also very young, started playing at the age of 7, songwriter and member of SACEM, he has 150 dances per year to his credit.

Michel Pruvot has been vibrating his accordion for 55 years now at balls and tea dances.

He hosts his daily show with no less than 900,000 viewers. In the Tour de caravan, alongside stars of the 60s and 70s, he performed as an attraction at festivals and dance galas.

A rich and varied program which made this festival a great success with spectators who have come together for a new gala next year.
