“Paris-Bercy”, it’s over. The Rolex Paris Masters, or more commonly called the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000, bowed out at the Accor Arena, in the 12th arrondissement, on Sunday, November 3, with the victory of Alexander Zverev against the Frenchman Ugo French, with a record attendance (176,451 spectators over the week). From 2025, the Parisian tournament will therefore take up residence in the largest indoor venue in Europe, at Paris La Défense Arena (from October 25 to November 2, 2025).

A move justified by the French Federation (FFT) by a need for space. He “is part of the FFT's desire to grow the Rolex Paris Masters and offer an ultra-modern framework to the different populations of the tournament [joueurs, spectateurs, médias, partenaires…]with the ambition to continue to promote the Parisian Masters 1000, considered the most spectacular on the ATP circuit, in France and internationally”, insisted the organizers in a press release, published Tuesday, November 5.

Four competition courts (two more than before), including a central court with a capacity of 16,500 seats, will be set up. A training court will also be made available to players. The spaces of these “will also be enlarged, improved and modernized”, specifies the press release.

The organizers welcome this move to a site “at the cutting edge of technology”, and assure that it will allow “optimized management of spectator flows, particularly ticket holders for the evening session, thanks to a large covered reception hall”. “Our ambition is to perpetuate the identity of our event, with an emphasis on innovation and modernity. (…) This move should allow the tournament to enter a new dimension by offering players and fans spectators an ever greater experience”, declared Cédric Pioline, director of the Rolex Paris Masters.
