Gérard Trémège invited the Leo Club Pyrénées Charity Empire to talk about their next event: the premiere of the film “Le panache” with José Garcia, which will take place on November 7 at 8 p.m.
“Tarbes is very attached to the dynamism of young people,” explains the mayor of Tarbes. “This is why the city is doing everything to give them a voice. And the Leos, that is to say the young members of the Lions Club International, are active.”
Leos, like their sponsor, the Las Neous Lions Club, are involved in many causes. Open and ready to give their time and energy to meet local and international needs, the “little lions” spare no effort.
“Each year, we organize a preview to benefit the Lions Club International Foundation, whose mission is to act for health and well-being, strengthen communities and provide support to those who need it need”, explains Lenny Espoune-Solignac, president of the Leo Club Pyrénées Charity. “This year, we chose the film “Le Panache”, which tells the story of a child who stutters when he enters middle school. The price of the place is 10 euros, of which 5 euros will go to the Foundation and 5 euros at the cinema This evening is an opportunity to discover a new film while doing a good deed.
As for the next Leos events, the Tarbais will be able to see them supporting their sponsor from the Lions Club Las Neous during the collection for the food bank, the Telethon, the Soupe des chefs, as well as other more personal projects.
