It was Internet user @foxhouet who noticed this and shared the information on X, formerly Twitter: “ Huge YOLO this evening in the France 2 news, which chose to close a subject on Superman to show images of the next James Gunn… Sorry, from a fanmade trailer armored with AI found on YouTube ».
But it is true that the original video is confusing. Posted on July 16, it has more than 497,000 views and is entitled: “ Superman : Legacy – Full Trailer (2025) David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan », making no mention that it is an amateur film. Moreover, Internet users are annoyed about it in the comments, emphasizing that the author of the video should say it more clearly. In the caption of the video, it is suggested that it was not actually from Warner Studios.
