“Comics bore me. It’s too long a job and it tires me.” Marc Cluzet rather likes movement in the concept of drawing. He looks for dynamics. This crazy Harley Davidson is an unconditional “Easy Rider” of Comics, these famous American periodicals published in the 1930s. The artist identifies himself as a free-range graphic designer. He designs flyer or magazine posters, names and your visual identity on demand. But also logo and T-shirts. All of which can be “seasoned with a pinch of illustration” as he likes to say.
Marc Cluzet loves the Z series posters from the 60s on which he only paints. The rest is Indian ink or pencil. For the motorcycle he started with an original in black and white before converting it into black acrylic. Then he scans the document before converting it to color via computer.
The author of the poster for the next “Valence ta beer” collaborates for institutions and businesses and of course individuals, his essence being above all communication. “I forget the motorcycle when I draw. It’s a concept but above all a little delirium”
Deliriums in color and black and white to discover until the end of the month at the Cavea space from Wednesday to Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or by clicking www.marccluzet.com. Groups on request on 06 73 64 07 77.
