The JazzContreband Festival continues to celebrate jazz in all its diversity – rts.ch

Until November 1, the 28th edition of the JazzContreband Festival offers 81 evenings between and Switzerland in various locations. Marion Rampal, Erik Truffaz, Léon Phal, Louis Matute, Julie Campiche, Ibrahim Maalouf, Léo Tardin, Grégoire Maret and Amadou and Mariam are on display.

An event well anchored in the Franco-Swiss cultural landscape, the JazzContreband Festival offers for one month a total of 81 concert evenings and 152 performances, all in two countries, four cantons, four departments, 34 cities and 41 venues.

Until November 1, the 28th edition still celebrates jazz in all its diversity by welcoming renowned artists and emerging figures. On the bill this year, we find Erik Truffaz, Marion Rampal, Léon Phal, Pascal Auberson, Youn Sun Nah, Louis Matute, Moncef Genoud, Julie Campiche, Ibrahim Maalouf, Léo Tardin, Grégoire Maret & Big Up’ Band for a tribute to Al Jarreau or Amadou and Mariam.

Support for creation and springboard

JazzContreBand also encourages young artists throughout the festival, notably by presenting the Leo Geller 4tet, winner of the 2023 springboard, as well as Mohs. and Manon Mullener 5tet, the two formations of its creation support system.
