Personality game of the year is making a comeback! Organized each year by La Presse de la Manche, it invites you to vote for the personalities and event of the year 2023, in La Manche. This year, the newspaper is in partnership with Crédit Agricol Normandie, GSF, Auchan, La Cité de la Mer and Concept 3 000.
So, who will succeed the Franco-Ukrainian Vlada Hervieu, in terms of personalities and the 20th anniversary of the Cité de la Mer, in terms of events? This competition is open until January 18, 2024 inclusive. A draw will then be held and you may be able to win three digital tablets.
How it works ?
In each of our editions, until January 18, 2024, find the participation forms. You then just have to choose your top 3 personalities and events. Then, return it or drop it off before January 18, midnight, to La Presse de la Manche, “Personality” game: 9 rue Gambetta, BP 406, 50104 Cherbourg Cedex.
Let’s take a look at the personalities selected for this year 2023.
Alice Robbe
A prosperous year for the former CL Tourlaville licensee. In April, the Cotentin tennis player (23 years old) won two titles in quick succession in Burundi and opened the doors to qualifying of a first Grand Slam, Roland-Garros.
In Paris, she missed the main draw after having passed two rounds. She also narrowly missed winning a new “home” title during the Women’s Open 50. Finally, this year 2023 coincided with her best WTA ranking (190th in the world).
Killian Pezet
Killian Pezet (24 years old) grew up in Cherbourg before joining the Air Force in 2017. Since then, he has climbed the ranks. Armorer at base 105 in Évreux, this year he invented Artac, a miniature and mobile tactical armory.
This box, intended for the military, is transportable on all terrains, in all weathers. An innovation which immediately appealed since it won a renowned prize which rewards the best invention for the benefit of special forces.
Marie Sciboz
At 34, Marie Sciboz manages Ceres, an underwater research and expertise company, located in Montfarville. After completing her studies at Intechmer in particular, the Sairoise made a place for herself in a male-oriented maritime world, which she has been around since a very young age.
She has just been honored at the Maritime Economy Conference which took place in Nantes, where it received the innovation trophy.
Blesea
This graffiti artist has crazy talent. For several years, Cherbourgeois, particularly influenced by manga and pop culture, has transformed blockhouse And walls in works of Art. Gérard Bourdet
Born in Tocqueville, Gérard Bourdet (68 years old) worked for 33 years in the gendarmerie then 10 years as an educational manager at the Bigard center. 25 years ago, he co-founded the association Scarlet Sails whose objective is to take delinquents in order to put them back on the right path.
This year, a Franco-American director was interested in this story to draw a graphic novel which will be released in the United States.
Fanny Chesnel
In 2023, Fanny Chesnel saw for the second time one of his books adapted to the cinema. After his first novel A girl with white hairpublished in 2011, brought to the screen in 2013 under the title The good days with Fanny Ardant in the title role, it was his second, Le Berceau, which won over director Guillaume Nicloux. Released in September 2023, the feature film is directed by the charismatic Fabrice Luchini.

Cherbourg Carnival
