Renaud returned to the stage in Paris on Thursday evening to sing his hit Manhattan Kaboul at a concert for the benefit of UNICEF. The singer was warmly applauded at the end of this concert. This event is part of a project called “Words and Images”.

“He is still there, still standing. Always there for good causes. He is so generous in life. He does so many things in the shadows,” singer Gauvain Sers praised on BFMTV.

An exhibition and a collection of works by contemporary artists illustrating his songs are also part of this “Words and Images” project.

Twenty artists, including urban art pioneer Ernest Pignon-Ernest, street artists Jef Aérosol and C215 and painters Françoise Pétrovitch and Anna Foka, each illustrated one of the singer’s songs.
