“Very demure, very mindfull”, that’s the watchword for this 2024 back-to-school season. Launched by influencer Jools Lebron on TikTok at the beginning of August, this new expression which means wise, modest or discreet has taken over social networks to the point of inviting itself into fashion. The principle? To give pride of place to minimalism, refined pieces and timeless pieces in line with the famous “quiet luxury”. On the catwalks, in the street or even in store windows, the time has come for elegance. Cardigans, beautiful materials, trouser suits, empire-cut dresses, trapeze skirts are making their way into our fall wardrobes. A quick overview of the gems that caught our eye on the shelves of the H&M brand.
We’ve been swearing by it since last year, the cardigan is more than ever at the forefront of the fashion scene. Seen on a myriad of runway shows since last fall, from Miu Miu to Prada to Loewe, this feminine and sophisticated piece has made it into the top 10 most sought-after items of clothing by consumers. And to the editorial staff, know that we could only wear this… In the aisles of the H&M brand, there are so many cardigans that it’s hard to make our choice. For a minimalist and chic look, we would happily let ourselves be tempted by the textured knit cardigan with short sleeves and gold buttons in cream (psssst, the light blue one is also catching our eye by the way…).
