Traditionally, festival-goers who attend the Au Pont du Rock festival like to meet in the town center of Malestroit on Saturday afternoons to relax before starting the 2nd evening of concerts. This Saturday did not escape the rule but with an unprecedented dimension. Given the exceptional attendance recorded by the festival this year, an equally unprecedented crowd took over the city center, especially as the sun was back as promised after the morning rains. In short, enough to make you want to party, especially since this afternoon it was the batucada musicians who led the dance. Brazilian rhythms… that was all it took to ignite the atmosphere under the attentive and protective gaze of the members of the communal civil security who were omnipresent among the colorful and very mischievous crowd.
