On the occasion of its hundredth anniversary, the art group and popular traditions The school of the Barbichet de Limoges presents a unique show entitled The Eychola of the Barbichet: 100 years of traditions. The city of Limoges organizes the screening of the documentary The children of PétainThursday January 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Simone-Veil Espace (2, rue de la Providence) in Limoges.
Written by Pierre Goetschel and Alexandre Sumpf and directed by Pierre Goetschel, this film was inspired by the collections of the Museum of Limoges Resistance, its archives and objects preserved in the reserves. It highlights the central place of childhood in the national revolution. The testimonies of children at the time tell the right of Vichy on youth, and its inheritance broadcast until today.
