Stand-up is growing everywhere in French-speaking Switzerland, and also in Châtel-St-Denis. The Jakadi Comedy Club offers a first night on January 30 at 8 p.m. at the White Horse.

A week after the arrival of the French phenomenon Paul Mirabel on the stages of Univers@lle as part of Cultur@iles, stand-up will once again be in the spotlight in the Vevey capital. The Jakadi Comedy Club is organizing an evening on January 30 at the White Horse bar with five French-speaking comedians.

On the bill are the winner of Morges-sous-Rire 2024 Adrien Laplana, the Veveysan Dos, the Valaisanne Camille Carron, the Genevan Michel Lavorel and the Lausannois Sacha Roux. The latter, a comedian with an absurd touch, started stand-up in the spring of 2023 and quickly created the Jakadi Comedy Club.
