This retired couple is seriously asking themselves the question: will they leave the brand new apartment in the eco-neighborhood into which they moved not even a year ago, last March? The two disillusioned spouses have faced a whole series of disappointments since their arrival, like the fifty other tenants with whom they share the building, they claim.
At the top of their list of concerns: the heat meters which still do not work and which give rise to unusual billing from the City. Deprived of data to collect, it actually sends statements based on theoretical consumption, always the same amount, summer and winter.
And Monsieur does not need to turn up the thermostat to bubble: “Since our arrival in March until the end of October we have not turned on the heating and we find ourselves with a little more than 100 francs per month to pay.” Frustrating, especially since the couple explains that they chose this area in the hope of reducing their expenses, which were becoming heavy in their dilapidated apartment.
Situation soon restored?
The Delémont industrial services admit that the situation is rather unlucky in the case of this couple who arrived with the good weather, but assure: “Theoretical consumption was calculated on “Minergie P” standards taking into account the surface area of the apartments. result is very close to actual consumption.”
According to these same industrial services, however, the situation should soon be restored. “The system works, but we are simply still waiting for the commissioning certificates. The craftsman had already promised them to us for last July, but he is overloaded,” explains Michel Hirtzlin, the head of the SID department, who specifies that these are not the smart meters that his men are currently installing throughout the city. “It would have been elegant not to send us an invoice until the meters were operational,” slips Monsieur.
