“Three continents, three views” – A dialogue between three cultures. This is the name of the exhibition scheduled until March 31, 2025 at the Villa des arts in Rabat. It symbolizes a dialogue between three photographic universes. Each artist shares their cultural heritage and personal perspective, creating a rich and moving visual mosaic.
From January 23 to March 31, 2025, the Villa des arts in Rabat is hosting the exhibition entitled “Three continents, three views” – A dialogue between three cultures. This is an exceptional exhibition, highlighting the work of three photographers from rich and varied cultures. This artistic event transcends borders and celebrates diversity through the lens of three photographers, namely Amine Kabbage (Morocco), Sho Sato (Japan) and Dolores Vukanovic (Serbia, currently living in Istanbul, Turkey). “This exhibition at the Villa des arts in Rabat symbolizes a dialogue between three photographic worlds.
Each artist shares their cultural heritage and personal perspective, creating a rich and moving visual mosaic. The Villa des arts with its architecture and history becomes an ideal setting for this meeting,” indicate the organizers. And added: “Through their works, these photographers remind us that, despite our differences, art has the power to connect cultures and tell universal stories.
-This exhibition promises to be a celebration of diversity and shared humanity.” To note, Amine Kabbage is a Franco-Moroccan photographer born in Morocco in 1963. He saw his passion for photography born at the age of 12, the day his mother gave him a camera. Since that magical moment, he has continued to capture fragments of the world around him, transforming each image into a fabric of emotions and dreams. Sho Sato’s passion for photography and creation transcends borders and disciplines. Driven by a constant desire to capture unique moments that reflect the diversity and beauty of the world, she has been able to combine a professional career and a rich and varied artistic path.
Currently based in Istanbul, Dolores Vukanovic works as a freelance photojournalist and photographer. As a child of the war years in Yugoslavia, she understood very early the power of photography to capture and transmit universal stories. For her, a single image can present a moment to the whole world.
