Reading Nights are organized in Gournay-en-Bray (Seine-Maritime) from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Atelier in partnership with Trait d’union and the Ministry of Culture, this Saturday January 25, 2025.
Tribute to Henri Gougaud
Heritage will be the theme of Reading Nights. The opportunity to pay tribute to Henri Gougaud, who died in May 2024.
Michel Bussi, Norman novelist translated into several languages, for whom the Gournay media library is named, will participate in this event at the Atelier cultural center.
Henri Gougaud was a storyteller, novelist and essayist. He is the author of around forty books including, with Albin Michel, The Child of the Snow, The Book of Paths, Little Wisdom Tales for Turbulent Times, The Romance of Louise, and at Seuil, the Seven Feathers of the ‘Eagle, The Sun Tree.
And Michel Bussi, whose name is given to the media library in Gournay-en-Bray, is a Norman novelist translated into several languages.
On the evening’s program
7 p.m.-8 p.m.: Dictation of a text by Henri Gougaud read by Michel Bussi. Registration recommended, Luc Guilloré room of the Atelier. Gifts for the first.
8:30 p.m.-9:15 p.m.: Aperitif dinner offered by the Trait d’union association and the town of Gournay-en-Bray.
9:30 p.m.-11 p.m.: several activities planned in the Workshop. Bernard Laurent Room:
