The association “For a Funeral Alternative in the Loiret”, in collaboration with its associated working group, is organizing its third study day this Friday January 24, 2025within the establishment of the Regional School of Social Work (ERTS) in Olivet, near Orléans (Loiret).
Entitled “Death and precariousness: dying in an institution”, it is only open to health, social and medico-social professionals.

- Welcome coffee – 8:30 a.m.
- Opening of the event with Christophe Gaspard, director of ERTS, Géraud Tardif, director of the Departmental Directorate of Employment, Labor and Solidarity (DDETS) of Loiret and Nathalie Grenon, founder of the association “Pour une Alternative Funéraire dans le Loiret » – 9 a.m.
- “How to support residents when a peer dies” Testimony from Isabelle Aufrere, facilitator at the Maison Mosaïque social residence – 9:20 a.m.
- “Don’t die poor of everything” Intervention by Catherine Le Grand-Sebille, ethnologist/anthropologist – from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

The Temps Modernes bookstore also puts a table of books (possibility of having an invoice) available to visitors throughout the day. Finally, as a reminder, a deadly aperitif open to all, will also take place on the same day.
