Caen, Ouistreham…
Certain scenes of the film were thus produced Caenlike when Jeanne Moreau goes to buy clothes. It is the building where the Monoprix is located, boulevard Leclerc, which served as the location for the filming.
The film crew also visited the Côte de Nacre. Shots were taken on Riva Bella beach in Ouistreham, with Gérard Depardieu, Patrick Devaere and Jeanne Moreau, who respectively played Jean-CLaude, Pierrot and Jeanne Pirolle.
Lunch scene in Luc-sur-Mer
A memorable lunch scene was also filmed at Luc-sur-Mer. It was the tea room on the dyke, on the Place du Petit Enfer. At the table, Jeanne Moreau timidly asks the two vagabonds: “Would you like to sleep with an old woman? “. It was Gérard Depardieu who very calmly replied: “Yes…, but I don’t see an old woman here”, before adding to Patrick Devaere: “Do you see one? »
-A scene in a car was also filmed in Basly, north of Caen.
In this erotic comedy, two misfits are on the run across France. When it was released in theaters, the film did not receive a good reception from critics. It is prohibited for minors. Yet, it was a real success with three million spectators in France, during its first theatrical release.
