With his new victory, won this Saturday January 18, Benoît Salmon became the biggest winner of the game show presented by Nagui, at the head of a prize pool of 538,000 euros. He thus dethrones Margaux and her 530,000 euros in earnings in 2020.
He knows more than 1000 songs by heart
But the thirty-year-old didn’t stop there. He also broke the record for the number of victories, since he has 79 (compared to 65, the record held by Louis since March 2023).
The thirty-year-old, a professional photographer based near Angers (Maine-et-Loire), has been accumulating victories since the start of his adventure on December 2. He told the site Puremédias having learned more than 1000 songs to reach this level, even though he rushed back to his mother’s house when confinement was announced in March 2020.
-With this money, no big splurges, he mainly wants to ensure financial stability. “I think the majority of my earnings will be invested in order to have regular income. My wildest dream was to have the financial security that I don’t necessarily have with photography,” he explains to Puremedias.
He will be back in the program on Monday January 20, to try to achieve an 80th victory and increase his prize pool a little more.
