. Exhibition: in Pahin, creating to escape
Tournefeuille. Exhibition: in Pahin, creating to escape

Opening Thursday January 23 at 6:30 p.m. of the exhibition by Nathalie Gilbert and Sophie Wang at the Pahin neighborhood center.

These two artists share space for different works with a common theme “Create to escape”.

If Nathalie Gilbert does work that begins to tend towards abstraction, Sophie Wang takes a figurative approach. Their techniques also set them apart.

Nathalie Gilbert goes through all the techniques: pencil, watercolor, ink, collage, acrylic to end up with markers when Sophie Wang paints with acrylic.

Members of the municipal council will be there to encourage these artists in their efforts.

The rhythm of the exhibitions is set, each month different artists benefit from this opportunity to show the fruit of their work to the public. The vast and bright room welcomes curious neophytes or specialists. The team in charge of this room is very welcoming. Neighborhood houses reflect the city’s cultural dynamics by opening their doors to artists and working to promote access to culture.

Everyone is welcome at openings and exhibitions. There is no quiz at the entrance!
