Robert Pattinson says he can now smell his daughter, although he thought it was a myth.

Robert Pattinson was surprised to discover that he can recognize his daughter by her smell.
The 38-year-old actor – whose partner Suki Waterhouse gave birth to their first child in March 2024 – admitted he never understood why people talked about the smell of a baby until he has his own little girl. He actually thinks it has an “incredible” and distinctive smell.
He laughingly told Vogue.com: “I remember people saying to me, ‘Oh, you don’t like the smell of babies?’ ”, but I thought they just smelled like baby powder. But I had a baby and I thought my baby smelled amazing. There is something, I can identify it. She doesn’t smell like other babies.”
-The actor also spoke about his fear of dying while filming his new Dior Homme perfume ad because he had to ride a motorbike on a beach.
He said: “I learned to ride a motorcycle for Batman, so when Dior asked me if I could drive, I said yes. In fact, I pretty much knew how to drive a motorcycle. But trying to start a motorcycle in wet sand is literally impossible. I said to myself, “I’m going to die on this.”
