Maëva Coucke will discuss the cybersexism to which she is subject in the show “Dans les yeux d’Olivier” on 2 this January 22.

Maëva Coucke (Miss France 2018) “wants to help raise awareness of cyberharassment”.

And Miss France 2018 gave a taste of it to “La Voix du ”, while knowing that by speaking out, she will “repeat a wave of hatred”. A courageous approach that she justifies by her “desire to help raise awareness of cyberharassment”.

“This is not a subject to be taken lightly, victims commit suicide,” she recalls.

The Misses are also on the front line of these attacks on social networks. “We thought we had reached the summit with Eve Gilles, and we realize that not with Angélique, where racist remarks are mixed in,” she notes with bitterness.

Maëva Coucke herself “received a lot of criticism upon my election.” And middle school insults like “broomstick,” “breadboard,” “skeleton” resurface. A hard step back. “Those were very difficult years. I wasn’t comfortable with my body. And there, it no longer came from children, but from adults,” she notes.

Added to this are “displaced photos, videos of men” and malicious rumors such as that of a “man thief” launched by the ex of her partner at the time. “I was advised not to get into a media war,” she says. Fortunately, today things have settled down for the 30-year-old young woman. “The community that follows me is caring. Insults have become rare,” consoles Maëva Coucke.
