A multitude of music stars are announced for this big show which will make it possible to collect donations for fire victims and prevention.
Faced with the colossal damage caused by the Los Angeles fires and the distress of thousands of people who lost their homes, a major charity concert in support of the victims is organized on January 30. Entitled FireAid, this show will be broadcast in the United States in certain cinemas and on several streaming platforms.
During this evening, produced by Live Nation, donations will be collected for « rebuilding communities devastated by wildfires and supporting efforts to prevent future fires in Southern California ». The amounts collected will be used to « rebuilding infrastructure, supporting displaced families, and promoting fire prevention technologies and strategies to ensure Los Angeles is better prepared for fire emergencies ».

Rain of stars on stage
A multitude of stars are expected: Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Graham Nash, John Fogerty, Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Katy Perry and even Pink. Also announced are Rod Stewart, Sting, Stevie Nicks, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Earth, Wind & Fire, Green Day, Stevie Wonder, Gracie Abrams, Joni Mitchell and Gwen Stefani.
FireAid will be released a few days before the Grammy Awards ceremony, which will take place on February 2 in downtown Los Angeles. The Recording Academy has announced it will reduce its events schedule for the week leading up to the awards to better highlight fundraising.
