“It’s an event awaited by young people”, the Prom’nons nous festival, dedicated to children, is organizing its 18th edition. From January 24 to February 13, fifteen shows will take place in eight Morbihan towns: Vannes, Arradon, Sarzeau, Séné, Saint-Avé, Questembert, Nivillac and Muzillac.
Make children think through fun cultural representations.
This year, more than 60 performances, all professional, are scheduled. “We will receive dancers, puppeteers and circus companies. There will be something for everyone,” smiles Béatrice Desroche, responsible for activities for young people at Scènes du gulf in Vannes and Arradon.
Dance, humor and history
For this edition, the seven organizers are honoring the Rennes duo Pilot Fishes. The two sisters, Léa and Agathe Rault, received 5,000 euros to put together a new dance and trapeze show, entitled “En haute en bas”.
“The festival is keen to support the creation of cultural production,” insists Anne Lenglart, director of l’Hermine, in Sarzeau. Their creation will be open to everyone, from 6 years old, on Sunday February 2, at the Lucarne d’Arradon.
On Friday January 24, at the Dôme de Saint-Avé, Morbihan students will discover the artists of the Bob Théâtre, “a new creation with a lot of absurdity and humor”.
The next day, the Belgian group Kosmos inaugurates the festival, at the Vieux-Couvent cultural center in Muzillac, with a show which revisits Greek cosmology.
With all these representations, Anne Lenglart wants to “make children think through fun cultural representations”.

A film concert in a caravan
Throughout the event, spectators will be able to visit two exhibitions. Humorous drawings, made by Justine Duhé, will adorn the walls of the l’Hermine room in Sarzeau. At the Dôme de Saint-Avé, a woolen installation, made by children, will be present in the hall.
For little ones, from 1 year old, a caravan transformed into a film concert will put on a special show on January 29, 30 and 31. “There will be drawings, paper planes and lots of unusual objects,” says the festival.
The organizers are also preparing a day “dedicated to the creation of new cultural projects for early childhood”, on Thursday February 6.
Shows already sold out
If the shows are dedicated to the youngest, the festival “remains open to all”, recalls Céline Kerda, director of the Dôme.
In total, nearly 10,000 people, including 7,000 children from more than 50 different schools, are expected throughout the event.
“Some shows are already sold out,” warn the organizers who add, “registrations are made on the websites of the places where the shows take place. »
