It’s an experience that always has its effect. Friday January 31, 2025, the Sud Roussillon community of communes is organizing a new “Aquaciné” evening. Spectators will be able to watch a film from the pool Espace Aquasud of Saint-Cyprienin the Pyrénées-Orientales.

This is the third edition (after 2022 and 2024) of this animation. This year, it’s the film In troubled waters (2018), by Jon Turteltaub, which will be screened at the swimming pool. Jason Statham (The Carrier, Fast and Furious, Expendables…) is the main character of this action feature film, where a prehistoric shark terrorizes a submarine.
Enough to provide some thrills, which will undoubtedly be increased tenfold on the water. Here is the trailer for the film:
To make the most of this session like no other, the public will be able to sit in the swimming pool, on buoys and feet in heated water.
Movie buffs, swimmers or splashers will appreciate this unusual experience to enjoy with family, friends or alone. To enjoy the session, the public will be seated on floating buoys (solo, in pairs) in the sports pool where, for the occasion, the water temperature will be adapted.

Reservations already open
If you wish to participate in this aquatic session, you will have to pay 14 euros. A special rate (12 euros) is planned for the inhabitants of the six communes of Sud Roussillon (Saint-Cyprien, Submissive, Latour-Bas-Elne, Montescot, Corneilla-del-Vercol et Théza).
Reservations can be made online on the Espace Aquasud website. It is also possible to buy your place at the swimming pool reception. The session will start from 7:30 p.m.
