Choirs in winter – nrpyrenees.fr

After being invited for a remarkable and noted Christmas concert in Tuzaguet, it is in the town which hosts them that the Choirs directed by Cyril Cieutat will give a winter concert bringing together the singers from the Cultural Center, Espace Maintenon and the Saint-Laurent-de-Neste music school (youth, mixed and women’s choirs).

This new event should, like last year, satisfy the public who love beautiful vocal music and also discover lesser-known works.

Continuing the symbolism of Christmas and winter, the program is made up of pieces that refer to fraternity, joy and sweetness. Values ​​which are carried by the young choir director, one of the city’s music teachers and who is currently preparing for state diplomas in choir conducting and musical training at the Pôle d’Enseignement Supérieur de Musique de .

Vocal quality requires meticulous musical work of accuracy, quality of timbres, choice of repertoire, but above all in the confidence that the singers, children or adults, acquire alongside him.

The musical program, with Henri Espiasse on piano, will be festive and even energetic but also moving with traditional Catalan and English songs, as well as original pieces! Among these pieces, “Let it snow”, “Walking in the Air”, “Sing Alleluia”, “El cant dels ocells”, “Lully, Lulla, Lullay”…
