Quinté+: Quinté+ of Tuesday January 21: Analysis and decryption of the reference race

To study this Quinté+we chose the following reference race (Thursday January 2 – PauEquidia Price – 3800m) in which five competitors were in the running and meet this Tuesday (New President – Never Risk – Panarea – Fan d’Apple’s and Free Lord d’Anjou).

Last kilometer -> last 500m

Until then hidden in the wake of the animators, New President came alongside the leaders on the last pass in front. We can see it at the height of Diamantaire (the winner of this race). Never Risk is not very far behind just like Fan d’Apple’s which evolves outside of the facilitator. Panarea is a little further behind. Free Lord d’Anjou was already stopped at this point in the race.

Last 500m -> Finish

New President is always at the forefront, trying to get back on the host Diamond but was unable to do anything against his rival, settling for first place.

Panarea et Never Risk are still in ambush behind them, struggling to place themselves in the right combination of Quinté+. Dominated in the final turn, Never Risk however, was able to get back on track in the straight to take fourth place. On the other hand, Fan d’Apple’s is clearly dominated for the first places, finishing in ninth place.

Conclusion

At the end of a good journey, New President is capable of producing a beautiful final phase. Just like Never Risk which is a good finisher. At 10 years old, Fan d’Apple’s was not able to achieve the peak speed of yesteryear but the resident of Patrice Quinton did not have the best of journeys either.
