Culture. After playing in Langres or even in Varennes-sur-Amance in 2024, the show De l’eau à la bouche proposed by the Raoui company will take place on Saturday January 25 for two performances in Montigny-le-Roi. The opportunity to talk about hydrology and territory again.
After having ensured in 2024, the opening of the year of tinta’mars during the evening En attendant Tinta, the Raoui company and its two actresses, Laëtitia Madancos and Morgane Audoin, are back in this year 2025 for new performances of their creation Mouthwatering which finds its origins in the triple point and in the testimonies collected from the inhabitants of South Haut-Marne.
Indeed, “From water to mouth” was born from work carried out in the field around the theme of water and the passage of young and old in the recording booth made by the two artists. During their preparatory work, the two young women went to the triple point site but also organized meetings with residents at both the M2K social center and the historic center.
From this was born a show centered on the theme of water and which was born after the discovery by the two artists of Point Triple. This led them to build a cabin which made it possible to collect testimonies and immerse the people who participated in an exotic context. Indeed, the design of “De l’eau à la bouche” is designed so that the show can be performed in the street or even indoors, which will be the case on January 25 in Montigny-le-Roi.
On this occasion, spectators will be able to see the result of the work of recording and cross-checking the testimonies that the two members of the Raoui company carried out. The latter, before performing the show for the first time in January 2024, held various workshops while collaborating with the Cada (Reception Center for Asylum Seekers) but also the local Mission.
-For this meeting in Montigny-le-Roi, two performances are on the program with one show at 5 p.m. and another at 9 p.m. A double possibility for the public to enjoy a poetic and human story around a crossing which starts at Point Triple, followed by a 17-day adventure on the Langres plateau made up of encounters and words captured during the “Capture [des eaux]“. So many stories to make this little-known Triple Point known here and elsewhere, to show and hear this part of Haute-Marne and its inhabitants.
There is no doubt that the public should be there for this evening where the southern Haut-Marne territory will be revealed in a different light from the way it is often perceived, including by those who live in this area where the water is an essential element.
