Cinema The Baladins of Perros-Guirec offers a preview of the film The Rainbirdsby Ariel Neo, Friday January 31, 2025.

Partly shot at Trégastel and to Ploumanac’h but also in other corners of , “it’s a project that goes back 4 years. At the beginning, it was supposed to be a short film, but through unexpected encounters, it became a feature film” explains the director.

On mourning and on life

At the heart of the story, the loss of a loved one.

It’s a universal theme with a fairly strong taboo. I wanted to make a bright and sunny film with an unexpected side to free speech. Les Oiseaux de Pluie offers a unique visual and emotional adventure, conducive to reflection on grief and life.

The screening will be followed by a debate with the director but also Tiska Louve and Pierre Le Baleur, actors, and with the birds by Yvan Gilbert.
