World reggaeton star Bad Bunny, whose latest album is a tribute and a dive into his Puerto Rican roots, announced Monday, January 13, that he will perform 21 concerts at the Coliseum from San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, his native island. The first nine dates will be reserved for locals and Puerto Ricans, who were his first admirers. The tour announcement, titled « I don’t want to leave here » (« I don’t want to leave here »in French), fell eight days after the release of the artist’s sixth album, Debi Take More Photoswhich immediately climbed to first place in the streaming listening rankings on the reference site Billboard.
The most listened to artist in the world on the Spotify platform in 2020, 2021 and 2022, Bad Bunny succeeded in 2023 in releasing a record in Spanish for the first time, « A summer without you », in the list of nominees for the best albums category at the Grammy Awards, the American music industry awards.
