Saint-Michel-de-Bannières. Games and activities at the library

Friday January 10 afternoon was devoted to board games at the Saint-Michel-de-Bannières library. Around fifteen members of the Sourire Club were able to enjoy and, above all, discover new games, those contained in the “Mop Games” case loaned for six months by the Cauvaldor media library and toy library in Biars-sur-Cère. It contains around thirty varied games, such as Skyjo, Stryke, and many others to play alone, in pairs, in groups, and intended for a wide audience.

The Saint-Michel-de-Bannières library has seven volunteers very committed to its operation (Sandra, Marie-, Marie-Charlotte, Jennifer, Marie-Josée, Nathalie and Colette) and operates two days a week: Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Currently, it hosts an exhibition on the mills of the country of art and history of Cauvaldor. These volunteers have already planned eight activities for 2025, including a new games evening for everyone this Saturday, January 18 from 8:30 p.m., and Reading Night on January 25 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. For this Reading Night on the theme of heritage, whether historical, cultural, architectural, culinary, volunteers to participate are welcome (contact 06 33 12 26 11).

The library coordinator in Cauvaldor, accompanied by two itinerant librarians, leads a monthly meeting in which local volunteers actively participate.
