The first meeting of the General Council in the history of the commune of Vionnaz took place Wednesday evening in the Greffaz room. A spirit of transpartisan collegiality emerged and was recalled by elected officials.
For this constituent assembly, the 30 general councilors elected the office of the legislative body of the municipality of Vionnaz, which will notably be responsible for establishing the agendas. General councilor Raphaël Guérin was preferred to his presidency. “We are not here for our own interests, but for those of our fellow citizens” declared the elected representative of the “Village Movement” after his unanimous election.
In the following point, the management commission (COGEST) was composed for the legislative period 2025-2028. Xavier Mottet, from “Communal Cohesion – PLR” will chair this obligatory commission.
All the people voted for on Wednesday evening, having spoken, stressed the need to go beyond partisan interests. The president of the commune of Vionnaz Valérie Bressoud Guérin.
The next meeting will take place on Wednesday February 19.
