“You don’t have a cigarette? I’m playing tomorrow at the Victoria Hall, but I don’t have 10 balls to buy a packet!” The contrast makes him laugh. We could see him pushing his piano in the streets of Geneva, we could admire his virtuoso hands “singing” Aznavour or Chopin. “I actually play imitation Chopin, I improvise but it looks like the real thing”… we were able to smile at his cheekiness.
