The year 2024 was a very good year for French cinema, 2025 is off to a great start with an eclectic program at the Saint-Pierre cultural and sports center. Overview of feature films currently showing

With Their children after them et My inseparablethe CCS programmer focuses on films that carry a message and raise questions.

In My inseparabledirector Anne-Sophie Bailly’s first film, the close relationship between a mother and her son suffering from mental retardation is undermined. The latter is in love with a girl who is pregnant with him. Laure Calamy and Charles Peccia-Galletto will keep Saint-Pierre moviegoers in suspense on Thursday, January 23 at 8:30 p.m. The film won multiple awards at the Venice Film Festival in 2024.

As for Their children after themthe feature film tells the story of young adolescents abandoned by their parents in eastern in the 90s. It all begins with the theft of a motorcycle.

Adapted from a bestseller awarded the Goncourt Prize, directed by the Boukherma brothers and produced by Trésor Films (L’Amour ouf, Le grand bain, Polisse…), the film will have brought together just over 300,000 spectators in the dark rooms of France. It is showing at CCS on January 30 at 8:30 p.m.

We knew Franck Dubosc in rather fanciful comic roles (Camping, 10 days without mom…), it is in a darker role that we will find him in A bear in the Jura alongside Laure Calamy.

For his second production, Dubosc enlists the services of Benoît Poelvoorde who becomes an investigator in this feature film which begins with the accidental death of two people and the discovery of two million euros. The Michel-Cathy couple formed by Dubosc and Calamy will have to put aside their disenchantment to get through it. Laughter and thrills guaranteed at the CCS on Thursday January 16 at 8:30 p.m.
