Thursday January 23 at 8:30 p.m., Emma Le Jeune, Élisa André, Manon Estève, Alizée Acquitter and Gwendoline Ferton, students in Administrative and Commercial Management of Organizations (Gaco) at the IUT Brest-Morlaix, are organizing a debate at the Salamandre around from the film “The Chamber of Wonders”. Alexandra Lamy and Muriel Robin, in particular, are starring in this feature film about the determination of a mother who, faced with the accidental coma of her 12-year-old son, makes the crazy bet of accomplishing the “ten things to to do before the end of the world” which he had written in his diary.
Encourage donations and mobilization
By screening this film, which is part of a tutored project entitled “Gacodream”, the young organizers have chosen to support the Brest association “A dream, a smile”. This collective aims to make the dreams of children with serious illnesses or disabilities come true. “The idea is to highlight the importance of dreams in the lives of children affected by the disease,” they specify. “But also to create a space for discussion with participants to collectively reflect on the impact we can have on these children and their families.” Another objective is to encourage donations and mobilization around the cause that the students have decided to support.
