Work on the extension of the Promenade du Paillon is entering a new phase: the start of landscaping in the Promenade des Arts and Jardin Sosno parking areas, which aim to modernize and secure the infrastructure, while strengthening green spaces.
“The Louis Nucera library is also undergoing a major renovation in order to offer more modularity, conviviality and inclusiveness”specifies the municipality.
In this context, Place Yves Klein will be, from this Monday January 13, 2025, temporarily closed to traffic. And this until June 2025 (subject to bad weather and construction site unforeseen events).
Pedestrian access and parking maintained
At the request of Christian Estrosi, and in order to reduce the impact on traffic, Place Yves Klein will temporarily reopen for the duration of the Nice Carnival.
Pedestrian paths, access to the parking lot and the “click and borrow” service of the Louis Nucera library are maintained.
