It’s a happy new year which begins at L’Aubade, the Flamanville nursing home (Manche), with a good dose of freshness et d’energy. Two new faces come to flesh out theentertainment teamto the delight of residents.

A change of direction for Sébastien Launey

Last Monday, Sébastien Launey took up his duties as host. He replaces Christelle Ressencourt, who left to train as an AES (Educational and Social Support). Well known in the area, particularly for his commitment to young people from the Canton Jeunes de Flamanville, Sébastien chose to take on a new challenge by turning to a different audience.

And it seems that he has found his vocation: “I wanted to change direction and work with seniors. It already inspires and enriches me a lot.” With his full address book and his boundless creativity, it will not be long before he sets up new projects that are likely to make our elders smile, move and delight.

The following Thursday, Lucas Zitte, just 17 years old, joined the team as part of a civic service. This young man aims to join a police academy. In the meantime, he has chosen to devote himself to the residents of L’Aubade, and the alchemy already seems perfect. His youth and contagious good humor quickly won hearts, as confirmed by the smiles of the “little ladies” (and the gentlemen, too!).

A strengthened team and delighted residents

With Sébastien and Lucas, L’Aubade has a duo full of dynamism and kindness. Between revisited activities, new projects and moments of sharing, the year promises to be full of good humor. The residents, visibly delighted, can count on them to brighten up their daily lives.

We welcome them and wish them a great adventure in this establishment like no other, where small gestures make big differences.

As for the L’Aubade team, they can rejoice at these arrivals, which will not fail to breathe great energy into the life of the nursing home.
