A fierce competition between the Ch’tis, the inhabitants of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, and the Bretons, diehard Gauls of the peninsula, live and in prime time on TF1 ?
It’s because Charles, the Star Academy candidate from Pléneuf-Val-André (22) qualified for the telehook semi-final against Marine, from Arras in Pas-de-Calais.

The competition promises to be tight: the two candidates have a powerful voice, a certain ease on stage, a strong popularity rating since they have already been saved by the public, and an undeniable regional community of supporters.
Charles / Marine it’s the match Bretons versus Les Ch’tis… Knowing that it is the votes of the public which will qualify the finalist.
Since the beginning of the week, the polls announce Marine winner of the semi-final.
Charles’s supporters are counting on the solidarity of the Breton people and his supporters for a comeback that would qualify their little protégé for the grand final which will take place on January 25.
Return home
Before this semi-final at the topthe two candidates had the right to return home for a day to recharge their batteries.
The welcome given to Charles in Pléneuf-Val-André was fabulous. “Charles!” Charles! Charles”, chanted the fans with enthusiasm, Wednesday January 8, in the streets of the seaside resort sprinkled with a typical Breton drizzle.
-“Type 1!” Type 1! » chanted the others.
Even the mayor of the city, Pierre-Alexis Blévin, came to greet the young talent on the stage from the Val-André casino, called for a mass vote:
You can count on us, we will support you until the end! Only one thing to tell you: Saturday, vote Charles! Vote 1!
One thing is certain, the role of the supporters will be decisive in winning the match: only the votes of the public count from now on.
So who, the Ch’tis or the Bretons, will make themselves heard the most? Answer this evening…
