The freezing cold has completely frosted an old truck on the path of the Tata Steel mine, in Schefferville.

In Schefferville, Mercury dropped to less than 34 degrees, with a feeling at less than 49 in the night from Monday to Tuesday. This mass of Arctic air has completely frosted certain structures and vehicles, as is the case with this truck parked on the path of the Tata Steel mine.

Aviary fauna was not spared from the cold. This is the case of residents of the Godbout bird interpretation center. Some of them are polar birds and have feathers that isolate them, such as the Harfang des Neiges or the Grand Duke of America. The latter has even developed a technique to eat in recent days: to bed on your frozen mouse to soften it.
