The big return of Bigdil (RMC Story): Lagaf’ and Bill explode the audiences!

A historic return that marks the annals of TNT. Broadcast on January 2 on RMC Story, the return of bigdil with Vincent Lagaf’ attracted 2.3 million viewers on D+7, a score never reached for entertainment on TNT. A phenomenal success that exceeds all expectations, including those of the most skeptical.

The Bigdil, a success that silences the critics

The figures are clear: with 547,000 additional viewers in replay, Le Bigdil signs “the biggest gain in the history of TNT“, as Julien Lalande, director of content and channels for RMC Story and RMC Découverte, points out. A performance that defies pessimistic forecasts, notably those of Cyril Hanouna who predicted 500,000 viewers. An error of assessment that Vincent Lagaf ‘ did not fail to point out with mischief: “Cyril Hanouna said we would do 500,000. Well, he wasn’t wrong, we did 500,000… but two days later at 7 p.m. in rebroadcast. In the end, we are already at 2.3 million viewers. “

Records on all targets for Bigdil

The show achieved impressive scores across all targets: 25.1% audience share for 25-49 year olds, 23.4% for women responsible for purchases under 50, and a staggering 41 % on children aged 4-10. A success that particularly touches the host: “We always hope that a show will work but, at this level, we didn’t expect it. This success shows that I was right to refuse three times. Because this time I was let me do it as I wanted, as before.”

A promising future for Bigdil

Despite the euphoria, Vincent Lagaf’ remains lucid: “I no longer have anxiety because I know that, in any case, a premiere has the effect of surprise and, afterwards, the audiences drop a little. But let’s be crazy, imagine that with the noise it has fact, word of mouth, people are just as curious. If I can match the audience we had for the premiere, I will be the happiest man in the world.” Building on this success, the host did not hesitate to send a small attack to TF1, the former broadcaster of the show.

Building on this success, RMC Story decided to move the show to Friday evening at 9:10 p.m., with around thirty episodes already recorded. The phenomenon is also confirmed on social networks with more than 37 million videos viewed since the launch!
