It’s a barely believable story and yet, a 53-year-old French woman, interior designer and married to a millionaire entrepreneur 19 years older than her, found herself at the heart of a mind-blowing scam. In a report broadcast last Sunday on the show Seven to Eight on TF1, Anne testified about the completely incredible affair in which she found herself after being the victim of a scammer, these sentimental scammers who use social networks to extract money from people.
Scammed by a fake Brad Pitt whose trace has been found, the Frenchwoman divorced and lost almost 830,000 euros in this case and his story quickly went viral on social networks. A few days after the broadcast of the report, the main person concerned spoke out to reestablish certain truths about this affair after numerous mockeries against her. “I’m not crazy or stupid like some people claim on social media. I just wanted to help one person, I was fooled, I admit, and that’s why I testified. (…) I am a sensible woman and if you had been in my place, you would have fallen into the trap” she assures. Celebrities even wanted to react, like Vianney, who revealed her truths about the fake Brad Pitt scam by defending Anne in the face of the attacks and mockery by which she has been targeted for a week.
The “hate” of social networks pointed out by the victim’s daughter
-For the moment, the victim’s former husband did not wish to react publicly, but his daughter Margot, aged 22, decided to speak. In the show The Big Weekwhich will be broadcast this Saturday, January 18 on M6 and an extract of which was revealed on Instagram, the young woman confides in Ophélie Meunier. “To be, it’s the descent into hell. Already, after all this story, for a year and a half, it was very complicated for her and for us quite simply. But there, she doesn’t deserve what happens to her. She doesn’t deserve to be manipulated and she doesn’t deserve all this hate on social media.she explains, in comments reported by RTL.
This period is obviously hard to live through for Margot and her family as the affair is so talked about. Involved in this incredible scam, Brad Pitt reacted via a press release recently and for the victim’s daughter, the message is simple, she wants people to stop harassing her mother. “She is a whole woman who is sincere and who is good-natured. Obviously, with everything that is happening, I received a lot of messages, a lot of hate. It makes me feel worse. It’s very complicated, very difficult psychologically and morally”adds the one who says “very fusional” with his mother.
